Check out these ice cream shops and dairy stores to discover delicious ice cream on your next trip to Marshfield.
Here’s the scoop: Central Wisconsin is a great place to find delicious dairy products of all kinds, including—and maybe most importantly—ice cream. If you’re headed to Marshfield, here are a few places you’ll love.
Hub City Ice Cream (two locations)
Pick your spot—either downtown on West 2nd Street or on South Central Avenue—and you’ll find delicious ice cream from the Madison-based Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Company. Hub City also serves sundaes, floats, shakes, malts, and slushies. Both locations are open seasonally from April through mid-October.
Weber’s Farm Store
Enjoy soft serve in a variety of flavors or take home a quart for later at this retail outlet on the west side of Marshfield on County Highway H. The store also sells fresh milk (made at the Weber family dairy farm on site), cheese, eggs, meat products, and more.
Seehafer Farm Creamery
Discover tasty treats just northeast of Marshfield with a hand-scooped cone from Seehafer Farm Creamery, located on State Highway 97 just outside the city. The store processes and sells fresh milk from the Seehafer farm, which was established in the early 1900s, as well as other local dairy products, ground beef, eggs, honey, jam, and more.
Melody Gardens Restaurant and Skateland
This unique family-owned business on Oak Avenue in downtown Marshfield has been a roller skating rink for more than 50 years and has had a full-service family restaurant on site since 1980. In 1996, Melody Gardens started making their own ice crem from a special family recipe, a tradition that continues to this day.
