This 2-day course covers standard trapping techniques and emphasizes current regulations, trapper ethics and animal welfare. Sponsored by the Wisconsin Trapper Association, Department of Natural Resources, and the Friends of the Mead/McMillan Wildlife Areas.

  • Deadline: April 12th, 2025
  • $20 due upon registration
  • Open to ages 10+
  • Youth under the age of 15 are required to be accompanied by an adult

Dress for weather and hands-on experiences. Recommended: hip boots, chest waders.

  4. Select the “Safety Education” section to view “Student Dashboard”
  5. Select “Search for Class”

  7. Select “Enroll” and follow further instructions
