Summer heats up with Hub City Days, July 29-30, 2022, taking over the streets of Central Avenue and celebrating Marshfield’s community and historic downtown, past, present, and future. Enjoy a massive 500+ Car & Bike Show, Family Zone with bounce houses & kiddie games, Brew Fest, Beer Garden, and live music. If you love and appreciate all things auto, you don’t want to miss this show!

Friday, July 29
HUB CITY CONCERT SERIES FEATURING THE PEOPLE BROTHER’S BAND
7-9 PM | Wenzel Family Plaza
Grab your picnic blanket or lawn chairs for a leisurely night out on the grass. Main Street Marshfield will be selling beer, seltzer, and soft drinks to raise funds for downtown events and programming, (like Hub City Days)!

OPEN STREET SHOPPING & DINING
5-9 PM | Downtown Marshfield
Streets will be closed to traffic Central Ave – Veteran’s to 4th St. for pedestrians to enjoy evening shopping and dining downtown. Win Hub City Brew Fest tickets! Shop downtown this evening and bring your receipt to the Main Street Marshfield tent at Wenzel Family Plaza between 7-9 p.m. You’ll receive an entry for each receipt you show with your 21+ ID. Winners will be announced at 9 p.m. Tickets will be held at Hub City Brew Fest for those not present for the announcement.

Saturday, July 30
CAR SHOW
10 AM – 3 PM | Downtown Marshfield
The Hub City Days Car Show spans over 10 city blocks, features 500+ car/bike entries, a live DJ, kids games, tons of door prizes, free t-shirts for veterans, veteran appreciation raffle (2 PM), and kids-only raffle (2 PM). It’s the car show you can’t miss! Car show vehicle registration is at 10 AM with awards presented at 3 PM. Registration is free with a suggested donation of a non-perishable food item.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT & BEER GARDEN
12 – 11 PM | Wenzel Family Plaza
Enjoy drinks and socializing with no cover charge! Live music will play noon to 11 PM thanks to our day stage sponsor, Prevail Bank, and main stage sponsors, Marshfield Insurance & West Bend.
10:30 – 11:30 AM: Sound-a-Motion Country Line Dancers
12 – 3:30 PM Live Music: Modern Throwback
3:30-6:30 PM Live Music: Joe G.

HUB CITY BREW FEST

HORSE POWER SHOW
10 AM – 3 PM | Upham Mansion
Visit the Governor Upham House and walk through an exhibit of horse-drawn carriages dating from the early 1900s.

FAMILY ZONE
10 AM – 3 PM | Veteran’s Park
Find family fun at the Family Zone! Enjoy Simplicity’s Chalk-a-palooza + kiddie games, Marshfield Fire Dept’s Freddy the Firetruck, Hiller’s Bounce Houses, and more all in the relaxing shade of Veteran’s Park. A breastfeeding tent is made possible by the Wood County Breastfeeding Coalition. Reis Martial Arts’ demonstrations will begin at 11:30 AM. Performances by Main Street Conservatory of Dance will begin at 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM.

BAGS FOR BAGS CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT
12-3 PM | Central Ave and 3rd Street
Hub City Cornhole’s tournament is back and right next to the live music and fun in Wenzel Family Plaza. Payouts to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. Other raffles and winnings will be available throughout the day. Pre-register with Hub City Cornhole on Facebook, or register at the event location day-of from 11 AM to the event start. $24/Team. Bring your own partner and bags. Proceeds benefit the NOW (Nutrition on Weekends) Program.

BE STRONG FOR A CAUSE CHARITY STRONGMAN COMPETITION
9AM Competitor Rules | 10 AM Start | Location: Central Ave 100 Block
This contest is a Strongman Corp sanctioned regional/national qualifier hosted by Boost Athletics Gym. Strongman/Strongwoman competitors from across the Midwest Competing for bragging rights & A spot at national/regionals as well as cash payout donated by generous local sponsors. 4 weight classes:
Womens: Lightweight – under 160lbs / Heavyweight – Over 161lbs
Mens: Lightweight – under 230lbs / Heavyweight – over 231lbs
Events include Max Hummer Tire Deadlift, Log Clean & Press for rep, Seated Arm Over Arm Truck Pull, Yoke Walk, Carry & Load Event athlete registration as well as Local sponsors donations will go get split between a local organization who will be surprised the day of the Event & The NOW (Nutrition On Weekends). The Nutrition On Weekends program is a collaborative, community effort to target childhood hunger. Last year the competition managed to donate over $3000 to the NOW program!
