Hub City Concert Series – j.bell & the Lazy Susan Band

Outdoor summer concert series at the Wenzel Family Plaza on Friday evenings including outdoor games and local food trucks.
j. bell & the Lazy Susan Band are a straight up Rock & Roll outfit from the Twin Cities of Minnesota that has been performing since 2001. They’ve been called Twang Rock, Alt-Country, Folk Rock, Country Rock, Americana… but they prefer simply “Rock & Roll”.
This rock-solid quintet has released full-length albums & two EP’s in their 24 year career. Their sound hints at many different flavors with the inclusion of horns, B3 organs, rich 3-part harmony & melodic guitar work.
The full band lineup includes j.bell (Justin Bell) on lead vocals & acoustic guitars, Bill Turner on keyboards, vocals & trumpet, Mike Dolbow on bass guitar, Kent Mortimer on drums and Marshfield native, Brian Zirngible on trombone, vocals & percussion.
Zirngible was born & raised in Marshfield & graduated from Columbus Catholic School in 1994. He is very excited to return to his hometown to perform on the Wenzel Family Plaza stage once again.
The band has shared stages with Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, Gear Daddies, The Belfast Cowboys, Miles Nielsen & the Rusted Hearts, Kiss the Tiger, Six Mile Grove, The Jons and many more.
