j. bell & the Lazy Susan Band are a straight up Rock & Roll outfit from the Twin Cities of Minnesota that has been performing since 2001. They’ve been called Twang Rock, Alt-Country, Folk Rock, Country Rock, Americana… but they prefer simply “Rock & Roll”.
With 8 albums released, their sound hints at many different flavors with the inclusion of horns, B3 organs, rich 3-part harmony & melodic guitar work.
The acoustic trio lineup includes Justin Bell on lead vocals & acoustic guitars, Bill Turner on vocals, keyboards & trumpet and Brian Zirngible on vocals, trombone, cajon drum & percussion.
Zirngible was born & raised in Marshfield & graduated from Columbus Catholic School in 1994. He is excited to return to his hometown to perform at the Wenzel Family Plaza stage for the first time. The band has most recently shared stages with Tempe, Arizona’s Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, Gear Daddies, The Belfast Cowboys, Miles Nielsen & the Rusted Hearts, Six Mile Grove and The Jons.
