We sincerely hope to have a large number of people from the community join us. The funds raised at this event are crucial to sustaining the programs and classes that Chestnut Center brings to the community for little or no cost. Art has the power to cultivate further development of creativity, empathy, and beauty in our community which can strengthen us socially, educationally, and economically. These are all things that we truly need, especially during this pandemic, which has been particularly devastating to the arts and the Halloween Masquerade Dance will be our biggest fundraiser since before the covid Pandemic hit.
One of our main goals here at Chestnut Center for the Arts is to bring the arts to the community, and the biggest way we do this is through our classes. From clay sculptures and stained glass windows to painting and videography, we work to offer the community affordable ways to express themselves and learn new skills, which is why this event is important. All funds from our Masquerade Dance Fundraiser will be put towards the costs of continuing our Educational Programming at the Chestnut Center.
