FreeJoin us at the Mead Education and Visitor Center at 10:00am for coffee, tea, and “What are the Wetlands? “Following the introduction, you will have a choice of four locations on the Mead to walk and talk with an expert.
Experts will guide tours into the wetlands and share their knowledge:
- Parasite Diversity in Wetlands: What it means for ecosystem health
- Wetland birds
- A Brief History of Water Management on the Mead
- Assessing North American River Otter Presence on the Little Eau Pleine River
*Trails are gravel surfaces and uneven. Please dress accordingly.
