These are unprecedented times, and we miss having all our wonderful visitors exploring our downtown restaurants and shops and visiting attractions like Jurustic Park and Wildwood Park & Zoo. When it’s time to travel again, we’ll be here—and we hope you will be, too. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a way to help our community get through this difficult period or you just want to be distracted by some cute animals, we’ve got some resources for you.
Share your favorite Marshfield memories
We could all use a little break right now, so let’s focus on some positive memories. We’d love to hear about your favorite trips to Marshfield: Did you discover a great new dish at a restaurant? Or uncover a hidden gem at one of downtown’s antique shops? Or take your kids to marvel at Jurustic Park’s unique creations? Share your photos and stories on our Facebook page and you may see them in an upcoming article on our website.
Support and celebrate Marshfield’s restaurants
You can also visit us on Facebook to tell us about some of your favorite restaurants and the ones you can’t wait to visit again once we’re through all this.
Take a virtual zoo tour
Since none of us can make it to the zoo right now, Wildwood Park & Zoo has decided to #BringTheZootoYou. Visit Wildwood Zoo’s Facebook page for a fun video series created by zoo staff that shows off the park’s animals like bison, elk, bobcats and the main attraction—twin Kodiak bears Munsey and Boda.
Help local businesses by shopping online
Do you have a favorite store in Marshfield? Lots of shops and boutiques offer online shopping where you can buy goods or even gift cards. Merle Norman Cosmetics & The Day Spa Boutique may not have their spa open, but the boutique offers online shopping, and employees are sending out orders to customers with no shipping charges—find more details on Facebook. Thimbleberry Books is currently taking orders via email; contact them on Facebook for more details.
