Dana Johnson paints year round and has spent the past year painting in Central Wisconsin. Her artwork will be on display at the Chestnut Center for the Arts for the month of January. The artwork was inspired by an area a short distance from Marshfield. She loves to immersed in the outdoors, even when the often unpredictable weather changes. Every painting has a story to go with it. Come see the stories that her paintings have to tell you.
Dana has a BFA in illustration from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and studied plein air oil painting at the studio of Joe Paquet in St. Paul and at the Madeline Island School of the Arts. She is a member of the Friends of the Mead/McMillan Wildlife Area.
