Unplug, Picnic & Learn About Kodiak Bears

Wildwood Park & Zoo

Pack a picnic and visit beautiful Wildwood Park and Zoo from 5:30-6:30pm.
From 6:00-7:00pm, attend a Special Bear Presentation from our local zookeeper, Steve Burns. Learn about Marshfield’s Famous twin Kodiak bears, Munsey and Boda, see bear skulls, and learn about other family fun zoo activities.

Dinosaur Days

Holiday Inn & Conference Center

Dinosaurs are coming back to Marshfield, Wisconsin! For the second year in a row, this hands-on, family-friendly science event is fun for the whole family. Learn about your favorite dinosaurs and ice age mammals in this incredible learning experience. Conveniently located at the Holiday Inn, enjoy tours, meet "Rex" the Tyrannosaurus, and come face-to-face with some of the most incredible exhibits within the state of Wisconsin.

The Sports Den / Marshfield

May the Fourth be with you! Dress up in your best Star Wars gear as you ride around Marshfield and the surrounding area to collect playing cards from participating businesses - the rider (or riders) that turns in the best poker hand wins the pot of prizes! All ages welcome. Concession stand with food and drinks to purchase. Bakerville Sports Bar & Grill

Join us on Saturday, May 4th at Bakerville Sports Bar & Grill for the Tour de Cure Cornhole Tournament. The Innovative Riders are raising money to support the American Diabetes Association! Entrance fee is $30 for each team (of 2), limited to 32 teams. $500 in cash and prizes available with top 3 teams qualifying and receiving free entry for the American Cornhole Organization State Cornhole Championships in June.

50+ fine artists will be showcasing their wares at this traditional art show that has been in existence for 56 years. Browse through fine artists and crafts from local, regional and national artists who will be selling paintings, gemstone jewelry, metal sculptures, woodworking, baskets, pottery, and more. Come shop for that perfect Mother’s Day gift!  There is no admission. Food on the grounds. Lodging avaiable at location. This event is held in conjunction with the popular downtown wine walk.

Paws for Brittany Fun Run/Dog Walk

Wildwood Park

Paws for Brittany is a Fun Run/Dog Walk for all ages. This event is in memory of Brittany Zimmermann, a Marshfield native who loved animals. Funds raised will go to help Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS). There will also be music, a bake sale, basket raffles and a 50/50 raffle. Come out with your four-legged friend for this fun event!

Dairyfest 2019

Marshfield Fairgrounds Park / Downtown Marshfield

The kick-off to the event is a Mayor's breakfast held on Friday, May 31, from 5:30-9:30 am at the Central Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. Marshfield is “Dairy Proud” to present its 38th annual Dairyfest event, May 31-June 1. This community tradition has been providing fun for the whole family, during these dairy-licious days. The kick-off to the event is a Mayor's breakfast held on Friday, May 31, from 5:30-9:30 am at the Central Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. The celebration includes kids entertainment, food trucks, an interactive education exhibit “On the Moove”, a downtown parade, an old-fashioned picnic and movie in the park, cornhole tournament, softball tournament, and the annual “Cheese Chase” offering 5 and 10 mile runs, and 2-mile walk.
